Adtech Startup Converted Strengthens Egypt’s Digital Economy with Mitcha Acquisition
Egyptian advertising technology startup Converted has acquired the local e-commerce platform Mitcha to strengthen its AI-powered digital commerce ecosystem.

Mitcha, a well-known online marketplace which is devoted to supporting regional fashion designers in the Egyptian advertising technology market, has been acquired by Converted, a company that is built primarily for AI-driven solutions for developing markets. 

This acquisition is a calculated attempt to create a more integrated, data-driven digital commerce within Egypt and its region. Converted, which is a n emerging market market built for ad-tech operation, specializes in tools that assist retailers in turning internet advertising into measurable sales. 

With this move, the company aims at increasing its capacity to gain access to connect directly with marketing campaigns to customer behavior. By acquiring Mitcha, it will enhance this goal and also enable brands to better evaluate the financial return on their advertising investment. 

According to Hilda Louca, founder and CEO of Mitcha, as part of the deal, she will join Converted as Partner and Executive Director, where she will function as the overseer of strategic partnerships and help drive regional expansion. 

While from Converted's founder and CEO, Mohamed Fergany, he claims that the acquisition will help the corporation to help creative talent, audience data analysis, and payment infrastructure into a single digital commerce solution that enables retailers to get verifiable returns on their investment in advertising

More than 300 Egyptian fashion firms and designers currently reside at Mitcha, which gives them a digital platform to market what they produce and connect with clients both domestically and abroad. It is anticipated that integrating this network with Converted's advertising technology will open up opportunities for development for online merchants, retailers, and designers.
