Collard, an Egyptian tech startup founded in Cairo, has launched a centralized event planning app that simplifies ticketing, registration, and social engagement for Egypt’s growing entertainment and professional events scene.

Collard, an Egyptian tech startup, is introducing a centralized event planning app that is aimed at simplifying ticketing, registration, and social interactions for Egypt’s growing events industry.

The launch comes after two years of development and an investment of a sum of $700,000 positioning the platform as Egypt’s fast-growing event-tech ecosystem. Collard enables planning events, sending invitations, handling RSVPs, and handling ticket payments all on one platform.

These procedures are available on the recently launched software. With quick dynamic QR codes linked to verified user profiles, challenges such as reservation duplication, fraud, and unauthorized resale problems that have historically troubled the events are avoided.

According to Founder and CEO of Collard, Abdel Latif, emphasized that, 

“The traditional event systems often lack transparency and oversight, especially when tickets are distributed through unofficial means or screenshots”.

Collard wants to give attendees and organizers a more dependable as well as seamless experience by integrating and securing the whole event lifecycle.

Collard is establishing itself in a position to grow into regional markets and take a piece of Egypt's expanding event economy with its launch. Platforms like Collard may be crucial in changing how events have been established, funded, and experienced across the Middle East and North Africa as digital usage expands throughout the area.
