Dubai’s Paquik Secures USD 85K to Scale Crowdshipping Across GCC
A platform designed to allow users to send items with travelers all around the world, Paquik, has announced a successful raised pre-seed funding of USD 85,000 from different angel investors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The funding is targeted at upgrading its traveler-powered logistics platform across the (Gulf Cooperation Council) GCC region.
The funding, which was closed in November 2025, raised USD 85,000 in establishing its crowd purchasing which connects package providers with customers who have extra spaces in their bags. The company functions as a digital platform that integrates cross-border deliveries rather than establishing real logistics infrastructure.
The Founder of George Antakis, Paquik stated that;
Users are provided with a seamless way of sending goods abroad by connecting them with authorized airlines which have spaces in their suitcases. To avoid any discrepancies, the platform integrates identity verification and trust precautions to deliver safe peer-to-peer transactions.
“Cross-border travel continues to grow globally, yet logistics still operates using traditional models,”Antakis noted. “Technology now allows us to build trust between strangers through verification systems and secure payments.”
With over 17,000 registered users on the platform, the platform has generated early revenue from the UAE–Egypt corridor with the plans to expand across GCC countries in 2026.
As a crowdshipping startup, which guarantees safe peer-to-peer transactions, the platform integrates delivery confirmation, escrow payments, KYC identity verification, and ratings and reviews. The idea behind the platform is to ensure a cheap alternative for traditional courier services while overcoming challenges that trust concern with stranger to stranger communications.
