A digital payment platform Flocash, has collaborated with Quest Financial Services to develop a new prepaid Visa Card in Zimbabwe. This innovation is aimed at growing digital payment access as well as improving financial inclusion in the country. The card which was launched is expected to allow Zimbabweans a more secured and seamless way of carrying out both international and local transactions. 

The partnership of both companies claims that prepaid Visa Card is intended for a wide usage for small business owners, professionals, freelancers, students, and also intended travellers who make use of flexible digital payment options. 

According to the Managing Director of Flocash, Sirak Mussie, highlighted that;

“The collaboration aligns with the company’s mission of expanding digital commerce across emerging markets. By combining Flocash’s technology with Quest’s trusted local presence, the companies aim to deliver a payment tool that supports the evolving digital economy in Zimbabwe.”

The process becomes more seamless for Zimbabwean consumers to participate in international e-commerce transactions and digital services since they can be accessed for both in-store and online purchases where the Visa card is approved worldwide. 

The card comes with a variety of features which includes easy reloading where as users can top up their cards with methods like bank transfers and local wallets or with cash at Quest Financial Services locations. With a mobile application, the system also provides instant notifications, real-time transaction tracking, enabling users to keep an eye on their spending and consumers can ban or unblock the card when needed.
