New du Pay–eSewa Partnership Eases Wallet-to-Wallet Remittances for Nepalese in UAE

Digital financial services provider du Pay, a subsidiary of du, has made public a strategic partnership with eSewa Money Transfer, Nepal's leading digital-first remittance company. Here is a collaboration aimed at simplifying wallet-to-wallet remittances for the large Nepalese community living and working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

Both parties announced the cooperation on the 13th of February, 2026, when both businesses emphasized the value of quick, affordable, and reliable remittance options amid other options. This program ensures instant transfer without the need for intermediaries by enabling Nepalese residents in the UAE to transmit money straight from their du Pay wallets to eSewa wallets in Nepal.

According to du Pay, users who use the wallet-to-wallet service will be rewarded through the partnership's exclusive marketing initiatives and incentives for both senders and customers. This action will reduce the dependency on existing cash-based remittance methods and promote wider financial inclusion.

With over 10.5 million downloads, eSewa has already transformed digital payments in Nepal.
