Orange Jordan Launches ‘Tahweesheh’ to Empower Smart Saving and Drive Financial Inclusion

Orange Jordan has developed a new savings project named “Tahweesheh”, operating through the Orange Money platform. Orange continues to drive digital transformation by introducing the most advanced technologies, robust infrastructure and innovative solutions with the aim to promote financial inclusion and encourage customers to make use of smart saving tools. 

With the project Tahweesheh, users can seemingly save money without hidden fees or interest attached. Consumers' finances can improve with the provision of set aside funds to sort different needs ranging from vacations, emergency savings, or school supplies, and monitor their progress over time. The initiative is intended to strengthen Jordan's savings culture and assist customers in making better financial plans.

According to the Chairman of Orange Money, Eng. Philippe Mansour, introducing the Tahweesheh account signifies a stepping stone in Orange Money Jordan's journey to empower its customers with flexible money management. This is following the goal of Orange as a committed trusted partner in financial inclusion while focusing on empowering women and enhancing their economic participation, in line with the national financial inclusion strategy led by the Central Bank. 

According to the company, Orange Money now serves over 1.4 million users and holds more than 50% market share in the country’s e-wallet sector. Orange Jordan emphasized that the solution could be especially helpful for young people and women, who frequently encounter challenges while trying to access traditional banking. "Tahweesheh" seeks to close the gap between digital payments and long-term financial planning by offering a safe, fee-free savings option.

With this launch, Orange Jordan continues to position itself as a leader in fintech innovation, reinforcing its role in shaping a more inclusive and financially resilient future for Jordanians.
