Saudi Arabian automotive technology startup Autobia has raised $12 million in Series A funding to expand its digital autoparts marketplace, with Artal Capital leading the round.

The investment also attracted AlJazira Capital and Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of Saudi Aramco. Autobia will use the funds to expand across Saudi Arabia, strengthen its logistics infrastructure, develop dynamic pricing technology, and scale its inventory financing solutions.

The platform helps merchants manage customer payments through licensed payment providers and buy-now, pay-later services, offering flexible payment options that support transactions and inventory purchases.

The funding follows a $2.5 million seed round raised in 2023, led by Sadu Capital.

For businesses, Autobia’s funding highlights an opportunity in automotive technology beyond vehicle manufacturing: digitizing spare-parts distribution, logistics, and business payments. These areas offer potential models for entrepreneurs building technology solutions for underserved commercial supply chains.
